We might expect that he would have said, "Thou shalt not kill." He didn't mention any of the Ten Commandments, but said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." He followed up with, "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37,39)
