By using factors but use same number if possible but if can't then you can use other numbers.
Ex.:
√4 = 2x2 or 2² = put one of the 2 outside because it has a square(²) and = 2√1 or 2
√20 = 2x2x5 or 2²x5 = put one of the 2 outside = five will be left inside because it doesn't have ² = 2√5 or 4.47
