The speech of Keesh in the council was all about their sentiments on the fair share of meat. He and his fellow villagers were given meat but it was mostly tough and often old with many bones in it. He was trying to speak about his father's will of giving fair division of meat regardless of their status so that there will be no old women or men crying because of hunger.
