Cagayan Valley is designated as Region II. It is a wide valley in the northeastern part of Luzon and irrigated from the water of Cagayan river. It is composed of five provinces and four cities. Cagayan Valley is known for its folk arts and crafts in every provinces and cities.

Vakul

This is from Batanes. It is a headgear used by the a vuitton women to protect them from the heat of the sun and the rains. It is a special clothing which is woven from abacca fiber.

Bakwat

Bakwat is from Nueva Vizcaya. It is a belt used by mothers after giving birth. This cloth is usually made of white with beads as accents and patterns of rivers and mountains.

Singkaban, Pastillas Wrappers, Fire Crackers, Puni or Poni

These are from Bulacan. Singkaban is a local term for Bamboo arches elaborately designed with kayas. Then, puni or poni is a decoration during fiestas and special occasions made from young coconut leaves.
