1.An ELECTRIC CIRCUIT is a pathway through which electric current flows. Now you know that electric current flows through a path called a circuit. You also know that a continuous electric current needs an energy source such as a battery.

2.A CIRCUIT is a closed loop that electrons can travel in. A source of electricity, such as a battery, provides electrical energy in the circuit. Unless the circuit is complete, that is, making a full circle back to the electrical source, no electrons will move.

3.SWITCH

A device designed to open or close a circuit under controlled conditions is called a SWITCH. The terms “open” and “closed” refer to switches as well as entire circuits. An open switch is one without continuity: current cannot flow through it.

4.An ELECTRIC CIRCUIT is a series of electrical components connected together, forming a path for an electric current. The purpose of most circuits is to convert the electricity into a different form of energy such as light, heat, or sound.
