I am not sure of the answer this time. We have not tackled these things in Grade 7, but, I will try to answer this question anyway. So, this is my equation: 4 + √x - 2= x
(Square all the terms to eliminate the square root)
16 + x + 4= x^2
20 + x=x^2
20/x= x
20= x^2
√20= x
