What I did is this:
3(cube root of x)=12
3(cuberoot of x)/3=12/3
squareroot of x=4
That means: Cube of 4 is the answer!
So, answer=64!
Check: 
cube root of 64 is 4
(thrice)
3 x 4= 12
Therefore 64 is the answer!
