Well, they have a lot of differences. First off, the degree of a quadratic equation is 2, whereas the degree pf a linear equation is 1. That being said, a quadratic equation has at least 2 roots, while a linear equation, 1. the graph of a quadratic equation is a parabola, the graph of a linear equation is a line
