For me, you do not need someone to be happy. Yes, having a company is wonderful, and they add so much to our lives, but they're not here in existence to provide the happiness we can not find within ourselves. Relationships don't fill a void or affix an emotional band-aid on your pain. Relationships will not be the missing piece to attain your fulfillment in life. In short, if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then I can say happiness lies to the person who seeks it. This reminds me of the quote by Bhanu Rajput, 'you don't need anyone to be happy. Your happiness lies inside you. The only thing you have to do is to find it'.
