Polynomial
- is an algebraic expression. If it is separated by operations, it is also called terms.
Monomial - has no terms.
Example:
[tex] 3x^{2} [/tex]
Binomial - has two terms.
Example:
[tex] 3x^2+3x^2[/tex]
Trinomial - has three terms.
Example:
[tex] 3x^{2}+3x^2+3x^2[/tex]
Multinomial - has four or more terms.
Example:
[tex] [(3x^{2})(3x^2)(3x^2)(3x^2)]^2[/tex]
