how should i graph a exponential functions?
like this:

1.f(x)=2 raised to x
x = -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3
f(x)=? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

am i going to substitute x from 2 raised to x
to get the value of f(x)

Sagot :

I don't know how to input the image so I will just gonna explain it.
f(x)=[tex]2^{x} [/tex]
Set a table of values and after you set the values, you can then graph it ex.
x=1,2,3,0
f(x)=2^1
y=2

f(x)=2^2
y=4

f(x)=2^3
y=8

f(x)=2^0
y=1

The value you substitute and the result are the coordinates:
(1,2),(2,4)(3,8),(0,1)

Just graph it and then form like a curve, you can see some examples of how the graph looks like without points on your notes or other sources
