For me introductory speech , from the word itself "Introduction" , It's depend on topic you will be used . Example is you want to make an introduction about on your specific poem , about yourself , story etc.
Remember that when making an introductory speech . The main idea is in there your speech . "It's better to make a short introductory with full meaning than making a long paragraph with no direction .I mean there is no meaning . :D.
