The simplest way is to make an opposite action of applying exponents. For example if you square 3, you get 9. If you want to have a square root of 9, it is 3. When it comes o fraction, analogically, look at the example: [tex] \sqrt{\frac{1}{4}} = \frac{ \sqrt{1}}{ \sqrt{4} } = \frac{1}{2} [/tex]
