Special nouns are nouns that refers to a quality,idea etc. It is special because your 5 senses (taste, touch, see, hear, smell) cannot experienced it. Special nouns are also known as abstract nouns.
Examples: sadness, hope, peace

Special nouns are nouns that are plural in for but singular in meaning. Example are news, you cannot take away the S because it will be new. Other examples, mathematics, acrobatics, measles etc.
