Dr.
Fuller’s car is 4 metres long. This is the average length of all 4 cars at the
surgery. A parking bay has to be marked out along the roadside. If an extra
1.5m gap is allowed for each car to drive into the space, how long does the bay
have to be for all the cars to be parked?
well I think the answer is 20 m long because as you said there are 4 cars and it includes Dr. Fuller's because u said all. so 4 (cars) times 4 m plus 4 times 1.50 for each gap. so the equation is x= 4(4)+4(1.5) = 20m
