what causes the bail to  rebound  or bounce when you hit it on the wall?

Sagot :

In this case , no addition of forces will takes place because these force are acting on different body.
So the answer in your question is simple , the bail will never bounce , why ?? ,
because bail is made of solid and it's particle matter are compress ,right?,
while the wall was solid too . So as a result the bail will just fall when you hit it in a wall . Because the forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
