Kouan-Yu and his co-workers will make a great bell but when it is casted, the metals wouldn't mix with one another. Casting is done 2 times and same result happens. If the last time they will cast the bell and still the metals woudn't mix, Kouan-Yu will be beheaded. I red already that story by Lafcadio Hearn.
