THE ROCKY AND GAS GIANT PLANETS
∆ TERRESTRIAL PLANETS namely Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars has solid compositions, frozen innercores, mantles and crusts. Mercury has a huge core, while venus on the other hand is almost the same as earth, in terms of size and density. Usually made up of metal, silicate and a rocky surface.
∆ GAS PLANETS OR GAS GIANTS these planets can be found beyond the asteroid belt, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. These planets are large and mostly composed of gases, such as helium and hydrogen, some of these planets have small rocky core.
