How to get the area in math

Sagot :

Square = a²
Rectangle = ab
Parallelogram = bh
trapezoid = [tex] \frac{h}{2} (b_{1} + b_{2})[/tex]
circle = [tex] \pi r^{2} [/tex]
ellipse = [tex] \pi r_{1} r_{2} [/tex]
triangle = [tex] \frac{1}{2} bh[/tex]
equilateral triangle = [tex] \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} (a^{2}) [/tex]

Hope I helped :)

Depends on the polygon. If it is a square the formula is SxSxSxS or multiply the sides.
If Rectangle= LxW or multiply the length and the width
If Triangle=  1/2 BxH or Base times Height divided by two
If Trapezoid= 1/2 ( b1 + b2 ) x H  or Base1 plus base2 times the Height divided by 2
