Given:
l = 30 cm
w = 35 cm
h = 40 cm
Sol'n:
V = lwh
= (30 cm)(35 cm)(40cm)
= 42,000 cm³
Volume of Pyramid
A pyramid has a square base side of 5 cm and a height of 12 cm. find the volume.
Given:
l = 5 cm
h = 12 cm
Sol'n:
V = 1/3 l²h
= 1/3 (5cm)²(12 cm)
= 1/3 (25 cm²)(12 cm)
= 1/3 (300 cm³)
= 100 cm³
