1. A square painting is surrounded by a 2.5cm frame. If total area of a painting plus frame is 3600sq.cm, find the dimension of rhe painting.

2. The Area of a rectangle is given by the expression 4x²+5x-6.
a. What is the length of the retangle if its width is x+2
b. If x=8, what is the dimension of the rectangle?

A=s^2
3600=(s+2.5)^2
√3600=√(s+2.5)^2
60=s+2.5
s=57.5cm

L=4x²+5x-6
       x+2
L=4x-3
if x=8
L=29
