purpose of PEMDAS is normally used in 5th grade math to remember the order of a
5th grade equation: Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition,
Subtraction. For example: (3x2)+7-3=__x(6+1):2. In this equation, you have to
fill in the blank to make the two sides equal.
