Actually, there are many filtering units in our body since our organs have different functions to maintain the equilibrium inside us. The kidney is used to filter the liquid and the by product is urine which we secrete when we pee. Our lungs filter the air we breath and the by product is carbon dioxide which we exhale during respiration. Our heart filters the blood to produce oxygen rich blood that our body needs.
