hOW DO YOU DO FACTORING WITH DIFFRENCE OF TWO SQUARES

Sagot :

To factor "Difference of two squares" :
Example:
                              x²-4
∞ Get the square root of the first term and last term, then write it as two factors with opposite signs (one negative and one positive)
                       √x² = x and √4 = 2
                            (x-2)(x+2)

P.S. Hope that helps ^_^

Difference of two squares= its factors is sum and and difference of 2 same terms.

Ex.

x²-9

(x+3) (x-3)
