In our lessons on Philippine Cartoons: Political Caricature of the American Era (1900 – 1941), some weak Filipino characters and values such as corruption, political dynasty, abuse of authority, public misbehavior, etc, have been revealed in the political cartoons compiled by Alfred McCoy. For our country to progress, these wrong practices must be discontinued.
