Neither means it's not on your choice or something like that.... example...
" Would you like an ice cream or a cookie " and you don't have the mood the eat ice cream or cookie so simple say " I want "neither" of them.

It is the same as nor. You say neither when you have a choice of two and you don't want both, you want neither.
