Weather and Typhoons
The Philippines experiences a series of typhoon every year. Typhoons bring strong winds and heavy rainfall causing distraction like flood, landslides and loss of lives.
Differences of Tropical Cyclone and Typhoon:
- Tropical Cyclones are developed in South Pacific and Indian Ocean while a typhoons are developed over the Northwest Pacific Ocean.
- Tropical cyclone and typhoon are known in different names and location.
Convection is a fundamental process that goes on in the atmosphere.Connection creates local winds,regional winds,and global winds. It is also at work in the formation and development of tropical cyclone, tropical storms, and typhoons.These weather disturbances begin when convection starts over a warm region in the ocean.
