In our human weakness we all fall.
Christ’s fall under the weight of the cross reminds us that our God is no stranger to infirmity. Some of our brothers and sisters fall not through their own weaknesses, but because of social and economic circumstances. In our own community, there is a number of families and communities suffering from different forms of addiction: gambling, wine, drugs, computer games, and other forms of vanities and excessive pleasures that lead them to obsession or depression.
Do you see a similar situation in your own personal life? In what way can their struggles teach you in handling and coping with your own weaknesses?
I do see a similar situation in my own personal life. I have an extremely hard time getting out of bed in the morning. I have a hard time making myself eat breakfast. Their struggles can teach me in how to be responsible and mature.
