CONDUCTION
Conduction is the movement of heat or electricity through metals or water. It transfer heat through matter by communication of kinetic energy.
If a material conducts heat, does it necessarily mean that it will conduct electricity as well? Why or why not?.
- No, since insulator materials like plastics and rubber cannot conduct electricity even though they are conducted by heat. But conductor materials can current flow and heat pass through them.
