Card catalogs are needed in
order to ensure an organized and easy to use library. Consequently, there are
three types of card catalogs, and these are the following:
1. Title
Card – the card that indicates the title of a book or an article in the first
line.
2. Author
Card – the card that indicates the name of the author or authors in the first
line.
3. Subject
Card – the card that indicates the non-fiction subject of the book.
