Chromosomal abnormalities or chromosomal disorder is a condition which results in either loss or gain chromosomes. Problems or abnormalities in genes can lead to genetic problems or genetic diseases. Sometimes, this can lead to mosaicism whereby, two or more cell populations have different chromosomal make-up.
