A Documentary Review During our Politics and Governance class last Thursday, we watched a documentary film about the implementation of the Martial Law in the Philippines. Though we didn’t get to watch the entire documentary, we were able to see how the President at the time, Ferdinand E. Marcos, planned the declaration of Martial Law. The film narrated the events that led to the formulation of the said law, including Marcos’ biography. It portrayed him as someone who is smart and cunning, an incident during his younger years proved this.
