The Grade Five pupils went to an amusement park as part of their Field Trip. They were tasked to
observe the things they see in the park.
Mr. Saguil: Look for different solid figures. Report your observation the day after tomorrow.
Group 1: Solid figure is a 3D figure. We saw different sizes of a rectangular prism in one of the games
inside the park. They are different colors.
Group 2: Solid figures can be named spatial figures also. The group noticed that the roof of the entrance
is in a form of a triangular prism. It is just like a big “Toblerone box” whose faces are triangles.Group 3: We played a game inside a square pyramid. Its base is square and has 4 triangle faces.
Group 4: Solid figures made up of plane figures whose all sides joined together to form a close figure. We
saw some children eating ice cream on a cone so we bought an ice cream and found out that a cone has
a circular base and one vertex.
Mr. Rosco: I think you did your best in your reporting today. Keep it up, guys.
