Activity 2 "Are You Calling My Name" Investigating the Characteristic of Sound

MATERIALS: a hard wall outside such as a flat size of building drums and drumsticks Date: a bell

PROCEDURE:

1. Facing the wall, stand at least 10 meters away.

2. Make a sharp sound such as clapping your hands or hitting a drum sharply. Wait and listen for the sound to comeback.

3. Try shouting and listen to the sound you made. Repeat this using a bell. Observe what happens.

4. Make up a musical piece using the drums by timing your sounds with their echoes so that you make thythm patterns.

GUIDE QUESTIONS:
