I am thinking of a fraction. Its denominator is 15 and the numerator is 7 less than the denominator. What is my fraction?

Your fraction is 8/15. It says that the numerator is seven less than the denominator which is 15, so 15-7=8.
It's an easy one ;) all you have to do is subtract 7 to 15.
15-7=8 (Numerator)
As your problem said that 15 is your denominator... 
therefore, your fraction is 8/15
