When the DNA unzipped, replication takes place. The old part
and the new part looks the same. The four molecular bases are just like the
individual teeth of a zipper, and this process is described as the mechanism of
a zipper. During DNA replication, the DNA comes apart but will rejoin after the
replication is complete, just like a zipper.
