As a student, how can you avoid biases and prejudice against someone?

In terms of biases, we can avoid it by not being one sided. We must listen to others opinions aswell before jumping into conclusions. While in prejudice, I think we can avoid it by just being nice to one another .Also to not hate anyone or make judgement to a person without any reasons at all.
