Structures or the individuals elements (eg walls and doors) are susceptible to damage when exposed to hydrodynamic or buoyant forces due to flood waters. Wooden elements of structures and contents are susceptible to damage due to prolonged saturation. Certain contents are also prone to darnage to mold and mildew due to excessive moisture.
