Explanation
This heat creates convection currents—this current creates magnetic - field which is essential to our survival by deflecting solar radiation such as cosmic rays away from us, thus giving us an atmosphere for our protection. Without magnetic field, we would be questioning our existence since if our planet don't have an atmosphere there would be no life, there would be no us.
