I don't think that your opinion is offensive because you are American, I think that you are just stereotyping all Filipino people. As a Filipino, I don't think that I am weird. But what you are saying is true. People from the US are a bit different, and maybe that is why there is such a difference in culture.

Filipino people are more open-minded and easier to get along with, they don't have prejudices and they don't have such a strict family structure as Americans. I think that they are very warm-hearted and friendly.
