Aqua paint is made by combining 2 parts green paint with 5 parts blue paint. indigo paint is made by combining 3 parts blue paint with 2 parts violet paint.  If equal amount of aqua paint and indigo paint are mixed, blue paint will be what fraction of the resulting mixture?

It will be 2/3 of the resulting mixture. Aqua- 2 parts of green, 5 parts of blue Say you make 10 for both aqua and indigo paint. 70 for both, making 20 parts for green and 50 parts for blue Indigo- 3 parts blue, 2 parts violet 50 for both, 30 parts blue, 20 parts violet 30+50=80 80/120 or 2/3
