How? Just substitute the value of x to 6
f(6) = 6²-2(6) - 24
= 36 - 12 - 24
= 0
When we substitute the 6 into the equation, the answer is 0, the same as when we substitute -4
f(-4) = (-4)² - 2(-4) - 24
= 16 + 8 - 24
= 0
