mixtures have 2 components, homogeneous and heterogeneous. Homogeneous is dissolved using solvent and solute. The solvent is the liquid one and solute is the solid one when you combine the 2 you will create a solution. the heterogeneous is only composed of solid. Example of homogeneous is a juice.
Example of heterogeneous is a marble and a rock in a container.
mixture is a material system made up of two or more different substances which are mixed but are not combined chemically!
