As a student with different nationality from Chinese people, I am disappointed by what happened to them. Many people have been finding ways to discriminate other people and the occurrence of the pandemic gave them the reason to justify their discrimination. I saw on social media that they were being bullied and being yelled at for being who they are and worst case scenario, the Chinese people are being physically hurt. I cannot help but feel enraged and sad that they are experiencing those kinds of attack and that I cannot be more helpful to them. Many misinformation have been spreading around on the internet and many people are seeing it but not everything on the internet is to be believed. I hope that people would not be easily influenced by such information and find it in their hearts to confirm the validity of the matter. Even if they confirm it, it will never justify hurting other people for their own satisfaction.
