how do you miss in life right now?

Sagot :

Answer:

What I miss most about my pre-pandemic life is the normal routine that I previously took for granted.

I seldom gave a second thought to the fact that, in retirement, I could do what I wanted when I wanted. My calendar was full of simple social events: a coffee or lunch date with friends, my Monday morning Life Story Writing Group, the monthly meeting of my parish Women’s Guild, the biweekly meetings of a women’s spirituality group, mahjong with dear neighbors every Monday evening, cards with other friends every couple of weeks, frequent dinners with our daughter and her family.

Although not earth-shattering, these social interactions filled my need for love, recognition and validation.

Now I long for these and other daily activities that made up the fabric of my pre-pandemic life. I yearn to attend mass with members of my faith community of St. Thomas More in Oceanside. I am most grateful for the technology that makes it possible to “attend” Sunday mass on video, but I do miss gathering with others for this sacred ritual
