HUM? If AI progressed to the level of creative thought the takeover would be real and the issue would be one of the computers having a need for animal life, or any life form.

If computers AI systems lacked creativity, they would run things and humans would not need to work or engage in any activity the was not personally rewarding.

Technically, computers have already taken over … cut electric and see what functions. The electric is the good for computers, and they starve and die… as does most of the world.

Explanation:They already have. There is an assumption people make that, to take over, they need to be intelligent. Not so. We are totally dependent on them. Without them we could not maintain a population of 8 billion. Agricultural and transport and medical and communication and administrative and water management systems would collapse without them. In keeping the computers running, we have become their slaves. We sit there twiddling our thumbs while they reboot or show a busy cursor. We can’t get on with our lives when they break down. What more proof do you need that they have taken over?
