So, how about some non-diagrammatically bias instead: the US plundered our own coal and oil and forests and fish stocks pretty completely using various methods, which were originally displacement and decimation of the Original Inhabitants, them ethnic slavery, extending currently into wage slavery. Half our US population is the working poor, making enough to barely survive, and lacking some or most of the essentials of shelter, food, sanitation, and adequate healthcare. Again, the most recognizable model for effecting the rank obedience of this herd of wage slaves was the Ludlow Massacre of 1914 when John D. Rockefeller hired the Colorado National Guard to machine gun his coal miners who were striking for better working conditions and compensation for hours spent setting up in the mines, and to burn the miners' wives and children alive. Again: he became the first US billionaire in 1916 after avoiding criminal charges, or any charges. And, again by extension, this is the model the US and most industrialized north countries are using to further plunder the cheap labor and resources of the south countries. 50% of the world's working population makes $1.90 a day. 90% makes less than $10.00 a day. Two million children starve to death each year. Two billion people drink water contaminated with feces, projected to be four billion by 2025. The global life expectancy is 71 years, and in Sub-Sahara Africa it is five years. So, economic development is based on the finite use of a relatively small number of the already wealthy using their national and the global impoverished working poor populations under threats and coercion to essentially steal their labor and resources. That doesn't fit into a Venn diagram, does it?
