The flora,
glossopteris of the south grew in a cold, wet climate, while that of
the north existed under warm conditions. Based on the sheer number of
leaf fossils found and the fact that the
plants grew in a temperate climate at middle to high latitudes,
therefore, the continent before has a temperate climate, wet to warm
climate.
