What are the similarities between Corrective and Preventive maintenance?
- Corrective maintenance is to repair unscheduled breakdown of an equipment while preventive maintenance is to perform scheduled maintenance of an equipment. When an equipment breaks down due to fatigue or misusage, you do corrective mantenance.
