When solid materials are pressed, they undergo physical change. No new substance is formed but, it changes its form, texture size or shape. New materials may be formed when solid materials like leaves or flowers, oil/juice is extracted. The oil or juice that is being extracted is a chemical change, thus oil and juice is another substance which has a new chemical composition.
